Psicoanalítica was established in 1999 with the goal of providing psychotherapy and psychodiagnostic from a psychoanalytical perspective, thus founded by Sigmund Freud and continued up to this day all over the world, certain that this is the therapeutic school of thought that faces emotional conflict from the deepest perspective, therefore, the one with the longer lasting results.

This site´s goal is to spread the knowledge of both psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as to promote mental health and to inform the general public and those seeking for emotional help, about different options and about the importance of approaching a professional of the field who has enough training and ethical principles, with whom to analyze with all the situations that may be causing emotional distress in his/her everyday life.

The site includes, amongst other things, two sections in which we will add articles, comments about books, movies, etc., that we think may be interesting and useful for those who read them. The chance of having comments on these from the visitors of our site will make these sections more interesting for everybody.

We will have articles both in English and Spanish, in the correspondent sections, so we have two different topics to talk about in each section at a time.

"...behind the person requesting a consultation, there´s a hidden a person, and that person has roots, an unconscious which, like the roots of a tree, is hidden from sight. There are not only branches which are ramified and have veins, but under the surface it has roots. So when this person comes into your room, what do you see? I am not asking simply what do you see with your eyes, but also what does your intuition enable you to see?

Wilfred Bion ("A Seminar In Paris", 1912)
